Prepared method of Hilsa Dopeyaja
Apply salt and turmeric to the fish and fry it lightly after 10/15 minutes. Do not over-fry.
Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry onion slices in it and keep two-thirds of it. Fry the rest until golden and grind it well with tomatoes and the rest of the spices one by one. Sometimes sprinkle water with a handful so that the spices do not burn.
When the oil separates from the masala, add 1 cup of water. When it boils, reduce the heat by covering it with fish and green chillies. After 5 minutes, open the lid and carefully flip the fish over and cover again and add the fried onions. Remove the lid after 2/3 minutes, by then the broth will thicken. If you have coriander leaves, sprinkle them on top. Now your Hilsa Dopeyaja is ready to eat!
